An Educational Initiative of COFEM & the New Partnerships Foundation
Our Mission
On behalf of COFEM, the affiliated Federations, and the New Partnerships Foundation, academic scholarships will be given to immigrant students or students of immigrant descent who have been accepted to an accredited university or who are currently enrolled in an accredited university within the United Status. This scholarship will award candidates who are in good academic standing, participate in extra-curricular activities, or who demonstrate work experience, and or demonstrate a compelling life story.
Eligibility Criteria
• Must be considered a full-time student or be enrolled in at least 12 units at a
four-year university (exceptions will be made for those students who work
and/or those who participate in research studies)
• Demonstrate participation in the community or work experience
• Demonstrate the need for financial assistance
• Academic performance indicating the potential to graduate from a university
• Be able to participate in the COFEM Gala Dinner and the Higher Education Summit where scholarships will be awarded.

Scholarship
COFEM and the New Partnerships Foundation have partnered to provide scholarships for the most deserving students in the Latino and immigrant community. Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $ 2,000.00 and will be open to all students who meet the minimum criteria. Select scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $3,000.00 which will be in part supported by COFEM affiliated organizations/Federations to select students who have participated in COFEM affiliated organizations/Federations.
