#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Given the current situation, #GivingTuesdayNow is an opportunity to come together and support those in most need. Today is a day for giving back, no matter how large or small your contribution is, every act of generosity counts and allows COFEM to continue serving the immigrant community.
Each year COFEM awards scholarships to outstanding students of our community. The majority of our beneficiaries are Mexican or Mexican-American, AB540 students, DACA students and first generation in their families to attend college. Many of them have struggled financially to reach their goal of receiving a higher education. Your generous donation to the Scholarship program, would allow COFEM to award more scholarships and positively impact the lives of more students.
Civic Engagement Giving
One of COFEM’s strongest pillars is its Immigrant Integration program. Through this program COFEM seeks to integrate the immigrant communities into all aspects of U.S. society. Citizenship clinics, DACA clinics, AB60 Licenses informational sessions and Health for All informational sessions are among the activities offered to the community at low or no cost. Please help us keep these programs free for our communities. Any contribution is greatly appreciated by COFEM and the people we serve.
Planned giving involves providing for a future gift to COFEM through your financial and estate plans. Donations made through Planned Giving will be allocated in the various programs that COFEM offers. For more information about Planned Giving, please contact our Development Department.
