Acerca del evento
1st time camping ? Interested in going camping but don't know where to start or what to prepare for? Join us on our Camping 101 workshop Saturday September 19th or 26th from 9:00 am - 11:00am in room 1 & 2 in the Coachella Library. Our team will help you better prepare you to go camping and be ready for the outdoors. Registration is required prior to the event in order to join us and participate. Remember, there are limited seats for this workshop so make sure and register.
Camping 101 is part of our Nuestro Desierto ("Our Desert") program, and is funded by the Outdoor Equity Grants Program, created through AB 209 and administered by California State Parks, Office of Grants and Local Services.
The implementation of this event is funded through Coachella Valley Mountains Conservancy; helping protect the natural and cultural resources of the Coachella Valley.
